Chal - Forensics | Our SOC has identified numerous phishing emails coming in claiming to have a document about an upcoming round of layoffs in the company. The emails all contain a link to diagnostic.htb/layoffs.doc. The DNS for that domain has since stopped resolving, but the server is still hosting the malicious document (your docker). Take a look and figure out what's going on.

Not a writeup, literally -4 explanations just my brain (+ my friends brain that I hijacked) trying to solve SansAlpha (ends in success <3)

Chal - Crypto | To be accepted into the upper class of the Berford Empire, you had to attend the annual Cha-Cha Ball at the High Court. Little did you know that among the many aristocrats invited, you would find a burned enemy spy. Your goal quickly became to capture him, which you succeeded in doing after putting something in his drink. Many hours passed in your agency's interrogation room, and you eventually learned important information about the enemy agency's secret communications. Can you use what you learned to decrypt the rest of the messages?

Chal - Misc | Help! One of our red teamers has captured something between a user and their computer, but we've got no idea what we're looking at! Can you take a look?

Chal - Hardware | We accessed the embedded device's asynchronous serial debugging interface while it was operational and captured some messages that were being transmitted over it. Can you decode them?

Chal - Hardware | We have found the garage where some cyber criminals have all their stuff. Using an SDR device, we captured the signal from the remote key that opens the garage. Can you help us to analyze it?

Chal - Hardware | Some amateur radio hackers captured a strange signal from space. A first analysis indicates similarities with signals transmitted by the ISS. Can you decode the signal and get the information?

Chal - Hardware | As a part of our SDLC process, we've got our firmware ready for security testing. Can you help us by performing a security assessment?

Chal - Hardware | My uncle isn't allowing me to print documents. He's off to vacation and I need a PIN to unlock this printer. All I found is a web server where this printer is managed from. Can you help me with this situation ?

Chal - Hardware | We've located the adversary's location and must now secure access to their Optical Network Terminal to disable their internet connection. Fortunately, we've obtained a copy of the device's firmware, which is suspected to contain hardcoded credentials. Can you extract the password from it?

Chal - Crypto | You are after an organised crime group which is responsible for the illegal weapon market in your country. As a secret agent, you have infiltrated the group enough to be included in meetings with clients. During the last negotiation, you found one of the confidential messages for the customer. It contains crucial information about the delivery. Do you think you can decrypt it?

Chal - Misc | We want to update our website but we are unable to because the developer who coded this left today. Can you take a look?
